Thank you for Volunteering for Bayfest 2008 !!! This is the longest Bayfest week yet and we really appreciate your help.
Dress Code
You MUST wear a Harmony T-Shirt. If you cannot afford to purchase your own T_Shirt, please contact Harmony. T-Shirts can be purchased for $12.50 e@ from Art Wear on 337 Queen St., just south of Confederation St.
Transportation and Parking
1. There is limited parking near the park. It might help to park at Harmony and car pool to Bayfest.
2. There is only one parking pass reserved for Harmony at the Exmouth/Humane Society parking lot. Any un-authorized vehicles will be towed. Park there at your own risk.
3. If you ride a bike to the park, Harmony will not be responsible and you will have to leave it outside the gate. No bikes will be permitted inside the gates.
Bayfest Volunteer Policy
No drinking is permitted. Anybody caught drinking will be immediately escorted-out of the park by security.

You need to arriveat the staff entrance shown on the map belowbefore 4:00 pm.After 4:00 pm the gates will be shut and we will not be able to let you in the park. Pleae note that the arrival time forSunday concerts is 2:30 pm,versus 4:00 pm.Clean-up begins at 6:00 ameach morning following the concert, until approximately 10:00 am, with the exceptions noted below. The gate we use for clean-up is by the marina/boat launch parking lot, versus the staff entrance shown on the diagram below.
Exceptions to Times Noted Above
1) The gates are opened earlier forSunday (July 6th & 13th) concerts, so voulnteers MUSTarrive before 2:30 pm. Once again, you will not be able to enter the park, after this time.
2) Anyone doing surveys or working the carts selling pop and water to the line-ups before the concerts, can be there as early as 11:00 a.m., but no later than 1:00 p.m. They also, will use the gate by the marina/boat launch parking lot.
3)Clean-upfor the last concert onSunday (July 13th)will follow that evening, immediately after the concert.
Finally, don't forget to bring a large rake and some work gloves for the clean-up mornings. There will be a sign-in sheet available, so those high school students who are working towards their volunteer hours, can keep track of them.
