In December 2008, the UFCW 175 & 633 Union for Food Basics awarded Heather McGregor of Sarnia with the'Outstanding Member Achievement Award' for her contributions to the community. Heather is one of Harmony's former volunteer teachers who won a scholarship as a result of her volunteer work with Harmony. The UFCW article mentions Heather's work teaching dance at Harmony and her many other contributions to the community. Heather is in her second year at McMaster University, studying psychology, behaviour and neuroscience and is loving it. She misses Sarnia and teaching at Harmony.
